Pearls of Mary Rosary

The pearl is one of the most rare and therefore most desired of all the gems. In the Bible the pearl is used over and over again to illustrate the preciousness of our relationship with God and the gift of eternal life. Pearls also represent purity and the book of Revelation records that  “the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass” (Revelation 21:19-21).  Pearls are the perfect gem to symbolize and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. On the enameled centerpiece Mary is surrounded by small glass pearls, the rosary beads are Italian glass pearl beads, and even the crucifix has pearl accents.
